Tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound) is a peptide therapy weight loss drug that is administered by injection. This particular treatment is effective in helping patients with type 2 diabetes manage their condition. At the same time, it can boost weight loss for patients with a high BMI who struggle to achieve their desired results with diet and exercise alone. The medication controls insulin levels, producing more when blood sugar levels rise. At the same time, it slows the movement of food in the stomach, allowing the patient who takes the injections to feel fuller, longer.

Tirzepatide is a GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) agonist that helps regulate appetite and food intake. Tirzepatide requires a prescription and is a once weekly injection that is given just under the skin with a gradually increasing dose. Clients can be instructed on how they can give these injections to themselves, by family members, or they can come to our clinic to get their injection.

At Alpha Wellness Lab, Jason will monitor your progress and help you determine how long your treatment plan will be. For substantial weight loss, the use of tirzepatide shall be combined with a healthy low calorie diet and exercise routine.
